If you’ve ever tried to book a dermatology appointment, you already know how long the wait can be. In many cases, it takes weeks—or even months—to get in. Meanwhile, skin concerns don’t pause. Acne can worsen, irritation can spread, and trying random products often leads to more frustration than results.
At KLS Aesthetics, we offer a different option. Our dermatology consultations give you direct access to a provider who can assess your skin, identify what’s going on, and create a clear, results-driven plan—without the delay.
This is a $75 office visit where you meet one-on-one with a licensed prescribing provider. This is not a general skincare consultation. This is a clinical, results-focused visit designed to evaluate concerns and guide treatment at a deeper level.
One important distinction to understand is who you are seeing during this visit.
At KLS Aesthetics, estheticians and providers serve different roles—and both are essential. Estheticians focus on hands-on treatments like facials, skin maintenance, and supporting your skin barrier through in-clinic services and product guidance.
This dermatology consultation is different.
You will be seen by a licensed prescribing provider, not an esthetician. This means your visit can include deeper assessment, diagnosis, and access to prescription-based treatment options that go beyond surface-level care.
If you’re dealing with acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, melasma, rosacea, sensitive or reactive skin, or ingrown hairs, this visit allows us to approach your skin with a more comprehensive plan.
During your appointment, your provider may recommend prescription-strength topicals, oral medications, in-clinic treatments, or a combination of all three. The goal is to treat your skin from every angle so you’re not left guessing—you’re following a plan designed specifically for you.
One of the biggest advantages of this visit is convenience. When appropriate, your provider can dispense prescription products in clinic the same day, so you can start treatment immediately. If something isn’t available in-house, it can be shipped directly to your home.
We want to be very clear about how this visit works. The $75 fee is a non-refundable office visit. It does not apply toward services or products, and it is not a consultation credit. You are paying specifically for provider time, assessment, and treatment planning. Any treatments, procedures, or prescriptions are an additional cost.
It’s also important to understand that KLS Aesthetics does not bill insurance. We do not provide superbills, we do not submit claims, and we do not seek reimbursement on your behalf. All services and prescriptions are self-pay. If you are looking to use insurance, a traditional dermatology office may be a better fit.
However, if you are looking for faster access, a straightforward process, and a provider who can give you real answers and a plan the same day, this model allows us to deliver exactly that.
If your goal is to explore services like facials, injectables, or other cosmetic treatments, a standard consultation may be a better place to start—especially since that consultation fee can be applied toward services.
If your goal is to understand what’s going on with your skin and how to treat it properly, this dermatology consultation is the right step.
You don’t need to wait months or guess your way through skincare. You can start with answers and leave with a plan.
