Most frequent questions and answers

No, most cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance however your HSA (health savings account) might cover things such as Latisse or Vitamin B12 injections. Please check with your HSA before using it for purchases.

Come in with out make up. Let your practitioner know if you have had a change in medication or health conditions since your last visit. Please bring a clean mask to put on after your treatment. If you are bringing someone with you to your appointment, please let us know so that we may ensure we stay within COVID safety protocols.

Consultations are complementary and are offered for all services including cosmetic injections and skin care. Telehealth consultations are available as well.

A treatment plan is a schedule of individualized treatments and customized home care designed to help reach your skin care goals, timeline and budget.

You will have a one in one skin care consultation with an experienced skin care specialist. Treatment options will be discussed based on in-depth skin analysis and your initial treatment will be preformed.

During initial skin care consults, individualized treatment plans will be put together by you and your skin care specialist. At this time custom packages are designed based on your skin care goals and cost effectiveness. Skin care services range from $75-$155. Cosmetic injections range from $200-$800. Consultations are offered at no charge.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule to another day. Cancellations must be done 24 hours before your appointment. No-show and late cancellation appointments will incur a $50 fee. KLS Advanced Aesthetics understands there are extenuating circumstances and is happy to work with their patients to resolve any scheduling issues.

Treatment down time varies between each treatment. For more invasive treatments such as microneedling, Kybella and cosmetic tattooing, there will be social downtime depending on how your skin responds to the treatment being performed.

This answer may be different for each individual. Typically, a good skin care regimen is the first step. Microneedling, chemical peels, and injectables all play a unique role in reversing facial aging. KLS will customize an individualized treatment plan you based on your skin care goals, timeline and budget.

You can easily do this in 3 steps; 1. Use a medical grade skin care regimen designed specifically for you by a KLS skin care expert. 2. Using and reapplying sunscreen all year round. 3. Coming into KLS Aesthetics for facial treatments every 4-6 weeks.

Preventative aesthetics pushes the pause button on aging. Tackling wrinkles and sun damage before they become permanently etched into your skin, while restorative skin treatments are a variety of procedures that ultimately restore the overall health of your skin. These treatments are designed to address skin tone and texture, discoloration, scaring, fine lines and wrinkles, loss of volume and skin elasticity. Procedures such as Botox and Filler are used to prevent and also treat wrinkles and volume loss.

Downtime can vary between patients. Most patients can go back to work the same day with some redness and swelling. Bruising is a possibility, a bruise can take 7 to 10 to resolve. Makeup can be applied 24 hours post procedure. Please inform your KLS partitioner if you have started or stopped any medications. To help minimize bruising risks; avoid NSAIDS, aspirin and fish oil for 2 weeks and avoid alcohol for 48 hours prior to your injections. Oral Arinca can be used 5 days prior to the procedure to reduce the risk of bruising or swelling and topical’s such as DerMend and Alastin’s INhance Post-Injection Serum. These are available for purchase at KLS Aesthetics. Please let KLS know you are prone to bruising before your appointment. Check with your Dr. before starting or stoping any medication.
