Trap Tox at KLS Aesthetics: What You Need to Know

Shoulder slimming, tension relief, and a more elegant neckline — all in one treatment.

At KLS Aesthetics, we believe in purposeful self-care rooted in confidence, comfort, and empowerment. As part of our modern injectable offerings, we’re excited to provide Botox® and Xeomin® treatments for the trapezius muscles — also known as Trap Tox or Barbie Tox.

If you’ve ever wished your neck looked longer, your shoulders felt less tense, or your upper body carried less stress, trap tox may be the treatment you didn’t know you needed.

Why Trap Tox Is Gaining Popularity

1. Slimmer, Softer Shoulder Line

Relaxing the upper trapezius muscles helps reduce bulk and soften squared-off shoulders, creating a longer, more graceful neck-to-shoulder transition.

2. Meaningful Tension Relief

Many people hold stress, posture strain, and muscle tightness in the traps. Targeted Botox/Xeomin injections can ease this tension so your shoulders feel lighter, looser, and more relaxed.

3. Long-Term Refinement

With consistent treatments, you maintain a smoother silhouette, better posture, and lasting comfort.

What Are the Trapezius Muscles?

Your trapezius muscles are large triangular muscles on each side of your upper back.
They:

  • Support head, neck, and shoulder movement
  • Help maintain posture
  • Often carry stress and tension

When viewed together, they form a kite-shaped trapezoid, which is how they got their name.

Other Names for Trap Tox
  • Trap Tox
  • Barbie Tox
  • Trapezius Botox
  • Shoulder Slimming Injections

These terms all refer to using Botox or Xeomin to relax the upper trapezius muscles.

How Do I Know If I’m a Good Candidate?

Trap Tox may be right for you if:

  • You feel persistent tension, heaviness, or tightness in your shoulders or neck
  • You want shoulder and neck slimming or a more elongated neckline
  • Your shoulders appear elevated or bulky
  • You carry stress from posture, desk work, or daily activities
  • You have enlarged traps due to weightlifting or genetics

During your consultation at KLS Aesthetics, we’ll evaluate your posture, muscle activity, and goals to determine if this treatment is the best fit.

Will I Still Be Able to Work Out?

Yes — absolutely.

Trap tox does not “turn off” your muscles. It simply reduces unnecessary tension. You’ll still be able to:

  • Lift
  • Carry
  • Exercise
  • Perform daily activities

Most patients report improved comfort during movement.

How Often Do I Need Treatment?

Results typically last 4–6 months, depending on your muscle strength and dosage.
To maintain consistent results, many patients choose:

  • Quarterly treatments (every 3 months)
  • Biannual treatments (every 6 months)

How Much Does Trap Tox Cost?

Pricing varies based on your trap muscle activity and the number of units needed.

During your consultation, we’ll assess your muscle size and recommend a personalized dose.

At KLS Aesthetics:

  • Botox®: $14/unit

We also offer our popular 100-Unit Botox Bank:

  • $1,200 total ($12/unit)
  • Units are pre-purchased and stored for future treatments
  • A simple way to budget and maintain consistent results

Flexible Financing Options

We proudly offer Cherry Financing, which allows qualified clients to pay over time — with up to 3 months of 0% interest. Supporting your wellness and aesthetic goals should always feel accessible.
